Hola, my name is Carolyn! I was born and raised in Miami, FL. my mother was born in Colombia and my dad in Maryland. Growing up in a multi-cultural family and city provided me a global perspective on life, food, music and art. This wordly view carried me into the joys of travel at fifteen years old when I was accepted into People to People Student Ambassador along other students in Italy, France, Switzerland and Austria. Later, I studied at Syracuse University where I double majored in English and Textual Studies and Communications and Rhetorical Studies.

My love for travel continued when I studied abroad in Florence, Italy. There, my writing skills and experience expanded as a Writing and Editing Intern for the expat magazine, The Florentine. I continued to write for other publications and marketing companies in Los Angeles, CA even interned at the Cannes Film Festival where I got to mingle with actors, directors, and producers from around the world. I then decided to live abroad and work in Daegu, South Korea as an English teacher for a year and then moved to Chicago, IL to focus on social media! Read more below: Where it all began...

If you read the above, you can see that I traveled a lot! However, I decided to move to Chicago, IL to work in Social Media Marketing. I began by interning with KrispyFringe Vintage as a Social Media Marketing Intern, I learned to optimize all social media platforms to help grow sales. I then moved on to Social Media and Marketing Intern with Maggie Richmond, an online jewelry company where I gained experience in Shopify and influencer marketing.
Where it all began...
Once I felt confident in my social media management, I started to work for SpaDerma MedSpa as a Social Media Manager. I grew the online presence and relationships from 1,00o followers to 30,000 followers organically. Over the years, I worked with a talented Marketing team where we designed, executed, and worked closely on advertising efforts.
